Parquet

Formpark, 2014

Bauwerk Parkett, Switzerland

The idea is simple, yet it had never been done before. Formpark consists of two sections of parquet in a relatively broad format, which, thanks to their proportions of 1:3 and 1:2, can be laid either in parallel or at right angles to each other. From these emerge countless traditional and innovative designs. If light falls from one side on floors with turned parquet sections a fascinating play of light emerges. What is additionally unique about Formpark is that one kind of flooring can flow seamlessly into another. This enables the combination of different designs within one apartment.
