Villa V, 2016

Private client, Switzerland

In 2014 Hürlemann was brought in to advise on the interior fit-out of this 500m2 villa. In collaboration with the architectural practice responsible for the build, Wild Bär Heule Architekten AG, Stephan Hürlemann and his team addressed various design topics including building layout, light planning and the design of all the built-in wooden units. What emerged is an open spatial sculpture that can be formed and transformed with the help of sliding doors as required. All the carpentry has a common formal language and, thanks to attention paid to the coordination of proportions and joints, it creates a harmonious entity with the architecture.
