We live in a time of accelerated change: new technologies, flexible work models and fluid team structures make long-term office planning increasingly difficult. This makes interior spaces all the more important that can adapt effortlessly to new requirements.
With Talky Village, Stephan Hürlemann has developed a modular office architecture whose elements function like a building kit. Talky Room, Talky Nook, Talky Connect and the Talky AddOns follow a shared grid, can be freely combined and integrate discreetly into the architectural environment. They structure space without visually dominating it.
«I wanted to create an office architecture that evolves continuously with its users — like a living village,»says StephanHürlemann.
The modules can be repositioned with ease and move along with a company. As a result, this reusable product family offers a durable, circular alternative to conventional, short-lived interior fit-outs.
Talky (Room) – The Origin of the System
The mobile room box has been on the market since 2018 and forms the starting point of the system. It creates places for retreat and exchange and is suitable wherever an independent space with good ventilation and sound insulation is required.
Talky Nook – The Functional Room Niche (new)
Talky Nook follows the same structural grid as Talky Room. This niche bundles functions such as kitchen elements, cloakrooms, info points or additional seating — and can also elegantly integrate or screen off less attractive areas, such as printer zones.
Talky Connect – Movable Spatial Boundaries (new)
The curtain system connects boxes and niches. It makes it possible to spontaneously open, zone or separate work areas, allowing spaces to be intuitively adapted to changing work situations.
Talky AddOns – Functional Modules for Every Talky Element
Since 2018, AddOns such as shelving, workstations, table surfaces, planter boxes and other elements have enriched the Talky system. They can now also be attached to Talky Nook, easily reconfigured and exchanged at any time.
Talky Village is a central component of Stephan Hürlemann’s Dancing Office concept, which makes workspaces dynamic, adaptable and future-proof.
